ACT Hangar Manager Editors

XML DB Viewer for ACT Hangar Manager

The database tool allows you to download aircraft from internet FS web sites

Each XML file lists aircraft available on-line.
These XML flat-files are kept in the DB folder where you install ACT
If you did not UNZIP with folders, then you will have to create a DB folder and place the XML aircraft file in it. Look in you ZIP for the file

Aircraft Editor for ACT Hangar Manager

The tool allows you to edit any element of an aircraft, one element at at time, for multiple aircraft.

You can edit all ACTIVE aircraft for a given Manufacturer, or all Hangared aircraft.
Edits are not finally written to out file until you tell the main tool to Save.
Copy-and-paste from one aircraft to another.
Copying from the main tool ScratchPad means there is less chance of changing an aircraft that you did not
intend to edit.
Add and delete elements; deleting [fltsim.n] elements preserves sequence numbering (sequence numbers are automatically reset)

Flight Editor

The tool now allows you to view any element of any flight including the startup, the previous or the UI-Generated Flights
to ensure that you will have an ACTIVE aircraft when you next start FS
even if you have made major Hangar changes. Select just the Aircraft
or the particular Variation/Livery. Edit any element. Add or drop aircraft and flights (flights from MyFlights or elsewhere

FS CONFIG Editor  (FS9 example)

The tool now allows you to Edit FS2002.cfg or an FS9.cfg element-by-element.
In version 4.4 the CFG files can be used to obtain and insert startup aircraft and startup flights (including variant of aircraft) and to ADD and DELETE elements
The Editor can be used to edit each element of either FS9 or FS2k2 CFG file.

A Launch.BAT file editor is planned to work with the coming CFG editor

Panel Editor  (FS9 example)

The 4.2 tool now allows you to Edit FS2002 and FS9 PANEL.CFG files element-by-element.
Panels are loaded no only from aircraft directories but also from generic panel directories.
In version 4.2 the tool can be used to selectively upgrade panels across aircraft, add elements, delete elements, set ALIAS or replace the CFG altogether, save with or without changes and global UNDO.

Sound Editor  (FS9 example)

The 4.3 tool now allows you to edit FS2002 and FS9 SOUND.CFG files element-by-element.
The Sounds Editor lists all WAV files available in an FS installation in addition to those for the laoded aircraft
DBL-Click a FLTSIM element with alias= to see the aliased CFG
The tool will be used to install and upgrade sounds across aircraft: add elements, delete elements, set ALIAS or replace the CFG altogether, save with or without changes and global UNDO.
